As Schloss Krumbach prepares for the upcoming school trip to Egypt, our students couldn’t miss a chance to visit an immersive 3D exhibition about the Pharaoh Tutankhamun, currently taking place in Vienna’s Marx Halle.
Excited to witness the augmented reality-reproduced objects and topics of the Ancient Egypt’s culture and art which they studied in class, our students followed the path of the British archeologist Howard Carter, who discovered the Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922.
We visited Tutankhamun’s burial chamber in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, learned more about hieroglyphic writing and even hopped on an inside of a journey through the winding paths of the Book of the Dead to the Court of Osiris (this required passing some tests though, but hey we’re from Schloss Krumbach).
It was a truly educational and entertaining experience, and we highly recommend everyone to visit the exhibition.
