A chamber music concert

Within the framework of music history classes, we organized an impromptu cello and piano concert.

Our musics teacher and a visiting celloist played:
1. Gabriel Faure “Awakening”
2. Cesar Franck. Cello sonata (3rd movement)
3. Camille Saint-Saens “The swan”

Students studied these pieces in class and were very appreciative of the idea!

This small affair truly encapsulates the beauty and uniqueness of Schloss Krumbach, a castle-school where one can attend a beautiful chamber music concert during an ordinary lunch break!
