One of that week’s many firsts was an arts workshop, teaching students to draw in water colour.
The workshop was carried out in the castle’s inner courtyard and engaged students from all the grades. As it always happens with arts workshops at our school, the event transformed the space into a hub of creativity and artistic learning. And who wouldn’t be inspired drawing in our gorgeous castle setting, sun lit and flowers-filled!
Guided by a professional artist, students learned the basics of mixing colours, creating gradients, and working with water to achieve different effects. Some stunning paintings emerged out of this affair!
At Schloss Krumbach, we take nurturing the artistic talents of our school community very seriously, and seek to provide all the students – no matter if they have prior experience or not – with tools and knowledge to express themselves in drawing.
