Cultural education is at the core of SKIS philosophy, and being in a 50 min drive proximity from Vienna provides our school with a wealth of opportunities to show students around the Europe’s cultural capital, which had historically attracted the finest artistic and musical minds.
Within this framework, Grades 7 and 8 paid a visit to the KHM Museum – they toured around the world famous artworks, absorbed historical facts, and had the privilege of learning from a real practicing artist, who once walked by foot from Vienna to Rome to feel the inspiration of Renaissance artists.
It is important to get the students accustomed to arts and culture from a very young age, which is precisely what we strive to achieve with our numerous visits to museums and drawing workshops.
