Who doesn’t lvoe the beauty of the Greek sculptures? Our students took part in a Greek sculpture workshop that combined history, art, and hands-on learning. The session introduced students to the techniques and styles of ancient Greek sculpture, focusing on the themes of proportion and detail.
Using replicas of classical statues as their subjects, students practiced observational drawing with pencils and charcoal. They focused on capturing the form and texture of the sculptures, refining their ability to translate three-dimensional objects onto paper.
The workshop provided a great opportunity for students to connect with history through art, learning how ancient techniques continue to inspire creativity today. It was a thoughtful and engaging way to explore both cultural heritage and artistic expression.
