Mr. Rembrandt has been in town – and, the art connoisseurs that they are, our students of course had to pay a visit! In addition, it was a wonderful excuse to visit our beloved KHM museum. At Schloss Krumbach, we emphasize the importance of studying core disciplines in-depth, and art history is an important part of it.

Through this experience, students engaged with themes of perception, perspective, and the interplay of light, connecting art history to broader. More than a visit, it was a lesson in the enduring power of artistic expression.

This exhibition, running until January 2025, also highlights scientific underpinnings in art, such as optics and light, further bridging art and inquiry for our globally curious learners.
