Schloss Krumbach International School has officially expanded its travel destination geography, opening the school trip season with a breathtaking trip to Egypt, an adventure, full of learning, emotions, friendship, laughter, and breathtaking beauty of the historical lessons and myths coming to life.
Students who studied ancient Egypt’s mighty pharaohs, formidable deities, intricate art and lavish architecture had a chance to witness all of this grandeur in real world.
From wandering around the incredibly diverse archeological artifacts at the Egyptian Museum of Cairo (featuring legendary Tutankhamun treasures) and exploring beautifully carved enormous temple complexes of Karnak, Luxor and the temple of Hatshepsut, the first female pharaoh, to courageously visiting the mysterious Valley of the Kings and climbing inside the Pyramids of Giza, Schloss Krumbach dived deep in the ancient Egyptian culture. These are the memories and feelings to last a lifetime.
We would like to stress the fact that our students were able to fully comprehend the significance of the historical memories in front of them precisely due to thorough educational program at Schloss Krumbach.
We embraced the rich cultural heritage the ancient Egypt had to offer – and it embraced us back with the warm sun and wonderful hospitality.
We are very thankful for this opportunity to travel as a school – and for our incredible teachers, educating students to value the traces and heritage of the past. Going on a trip that far was also a great bonding experience for our students, who, as always, proved to be a clever, fun, and mutually supportive crew of friends. Indiana Jones would be proud of us!
Shukran, dear Egypt, for a whirlwind of mind-blowing historical sites to process in awe, we will will be coming again!
