KRUMBACH SCHOOL KIDS COMING TO VISIT FOR A WANDERTAG

Yesterday we have had one the most fun Wednesdays ever, and all thanks to the Austrian tradition of the Wandertage, which means “hiking days”.

Basically, on certain days, school kids, especially in the primary, pay an exploratory visit to an interesting place they learned about in class. Guess what, our castle is a place like that for the students of the local school.

SKIS Grade 8, responsible for giving the little guests a proper tour around the castle, handled the task with impressive expertise and creativity. They dressed up in the medieval costumes and spoke flawless (we mean, almost) German. Well done, guys! The kids were in awe, and we were very proud of your confidence and hospitality.

Committed to preserving its heritage as a vital part of the local community, SKIS is very happy to maintain close ties with the people of Krumbach. We thank the Gemeinde for its support and the school students and their teachers for coming to see us. You are always very welcome here.
