Our Students Organize a Medieval Wandertag for Krumbach Primary School Kids

Recently our IB DP students, within the framework of their CAS, organized a wonderful Wandertag at the Krumbach Castle for the primary school kids from Krumbach.

The whole affair was in German and medial times themed. Our students, dressed up as knights and ladies, introduced their little guests to the castle, divided them into groups using the knight’s helmet as a Sorting Hat, then held some competitions and games and taught them dances, songs, and some drawing.

The highlight of the day was definitely a duel between a father and a love interest of our fair lady and then a sweet ending to the event, when primary school students received some croissants and pancakes from the kitchen.

It was a lovely affair, with dancing, playing, singing, and most of all inspiring the little guests to dream big and to study hard.

We are very proud of our DP students for holding an event like this completely on their own – it is a testament to their organizing prowess but also reflects deep commitment to nurturing ties with the local community.

We thank Krumbach primary school for paying us a visit and look forward to more cultural exchanges like this.
