OUR SCHOOL TRIP TO NUREMBERG⁣⁣

This weekend, some of the SKIS grade 8 and 7 students traveled to Nürnberg, a German city with a 950 years history full of culture, battles and glory. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

We visited some of the city’s most interested sights, including the Germanic National Museum, a home to the country’s largest collection – more than 1.3 million items – related to German art and culture. ⁣⁣

Students also were very impressed by the Albrecht Dürer’s house, where the artist lived and worked for nearly 20 years, and the Nürnberg Toy Museum, one of the most well known toy museums in the world, showing the evolution of toys from antiquity to the present.⁣⁣

Needless to say, we enjoyed local delikatessen, the old city views and walks down the ancient alleys. ⁣⁣

Fun fact: we traveled by train, so students also got a chance to work on their homework on the way back.⁣⁣

We’d call this trip one word – EXCITING!
