Our students recently attended a performance at the Volksoper featuring Jolanthe and The Nutcracker, a fantastic take of dance, song, and imaginative storytelling.
The performance followed a story of a blind princess seeking a cure and explored themes of revelation, love, and the importance of perception. In contrast, the Nutcracker portrayed a young girl’s dream journey to a fairyland alongside a prince.
Our students enjoyed this theater endeavor very much. The cultural experience at the Volksoper aligned with our school’s commitment to fostering well-rounded learners. By exposing students to music and theater, we aim to develop their creativity, empathy, and ability to appreciate the beauty and complexity of performative arts by witnessing it in action.
